Great British-themed pub in Newport Village! During the Fall and Winter months it is often packed with a casual, yet fun crowd all weekend long. There is live entertainment on the weekends, which can be fun as well. The servers are attentive and the food is generally good (for pub food). I recommend sticking to the more traditional dishes like the stuffed baby yorkies, Guinness soup, shepherd’s pie, and the steak and Guinness pie (my fave!). We were there this past weekend for the first time in awhile and we realized why we love it so much – it’s that comfortable pub down the street when the weather is bad and you don’t feel like cooking! This restaurant has all the key elements to good dining! I go here almost every week because we appreciate the service and the quality of the food. Even the chef is willing to lend a hand at serving the food at peak times. My favorite would be Malaysian menu! Excellent dish to have for lunch coupled with a chicken-corn soup to start. The lunch specials are great too! Pork and beans is my pick (yes it tastes better than it sounds). Overall its an excellent restaurant and well balanced! Give it a try! Happy Dining! Lire plus
