I like how King’s Music store is a small personable, friendly environment. They have a good selection of instruments and music. I mentioned my guitar hadn’t been keeping tune well lately. How I’d stored it in my bedroom for many years, rarely playing it. How I’ve started playing all the time again. Daniel offered to check my guitar. I went and brought it to him. He cleaned the dust off and restrung it and checked everything. And taught me things I did not know about my guitar! Thank you Daniel! Lire plus

Vahik presides over his workshop filled with machines and hand tools and dozens of all manner of musical instruments. I have brought him an old violin from a flea market for his assessment. He thinks it is worth repairing and we agree to three stages. When each stage is complete the violin improves enormously. Finally, he is satisfied and so am I...a real transformation! The violin both looks and plays wonderfully. The cost of repairing is not cheap, but much increased the value! Thanks! Lire plus

10/10 recommend. Went in years ago to buy an electric guitar when another nearby store was unable to accommodate me as a lefty and never looked back. I soon realized that Tom Lee is where it’s at. All the staff are friendly, helpful and knowledgeable in their products. They really care about their customers and always go the extra mile. I came in looking to buy a violin, and Rino showed me around and let me play everything in the shop, even instruments wildly out of my price range, just for the experience. As an advanced student, just a few weeks of practicing on this instrument has completely transformed my playing, and I deeply regret the literal years I wasted being held back by a poor instrument. Rino is the most prestigious luthier in Vancouver and he actually knows what he's doing. Highly recommended. Lire plus
