Went there with my buddy for Breakfast and on entering we were seated right away. I ordered the regular breakfast which consisted of a coffee, three eggs, 4 sausages, home fries and toast. On the toast plate was one peanut butter and one strawberry jam serving.
The home fries were not hot but just luke warm and greasy. The sausages had obviously been cooked way before we got there as they were dried up and wrinkled. The eggs which I ordered over easy appeared to be thrown in the middle of the plate and the yolks were not soft as in over easy. The plate had no presentation whatsoever.
My buddy had the omlette which he enjoyed however, his potatoes were also just luke warm. With his toast he only got one container of jam and when asked about a peanut butter the waitress advised him that the peanut butter would cost extra and went into a tirade of how people take the jams and peanut butter home so they have to charge for it. The waitress went on about the peanut butter several times and made a big ado about it. When he went to pay for his bill he found that the coffee was not included with his meal. Not a great breakfast and the grouchy waitress could certainly brush up on her customer relation skills.
Will not be back here ever again.
Thought we would try this place for breakfast, I love family owned and run places most of the time they have the best food. Our breakfast came out in less then 5 minutes and it looked pretty good besides being a bit greasy, and then the waffles that claimed to be "made to order" were frozen eggo waffles from a box, put In a toaster and burnt to boot! That just ruined it right there would have been a good breakfast other wise. When it came time to pay we couldn't find our server either she disappeared and had to ask another serve to get us change. Eggs and home fries were great.
Decent food, extremely fast, reasonably priced. Great hashbrowns, steamed eggs and standard brekkie sausages. Would visit again for breakfast. Price was fair and service was friendly.
Okay, so I have an obsession with washrooms. I even have nightmares involving dirty washrooms. What is going on? Well, all I ask for is a clean washroom. If the washroom is clean, chances are the kitchen is also clean. Logical? So we ordered breakfast (this is before I even visited the washroom) and it was rather greasy. Nothing special just your basic greasy breakfast. The server was nice but the washroom negated any positive thoughts I had. Do the owners use the washroom? What about the waiting staff? The food was okay, price okay, but please do update and clean your washroom!! I looked around me and thought, wow, there are a lot of people here and I wonder if they used the washroom? Overall, wouldn't go back, can't even recall what I ate since it was that forgettable!
My wife and I went for dinner on August 2nd. My wife had the Seafood Delight and I had the Fisherman's platter (shrimps, scallops and Sole). The food was good and the portions were ample.
The server was fast and the kitchen was quick.
The restaurant is nicely laid out, and has a nice atmosphere.
