The service was always friendly. The staff always remembered me and what I liked to order, even if I took a 6 month hiatus. It has been about 1 1/2 yrs now, wonder if they would still know? :)
Best Pad Thai! Best SPring ROlls! I am so sick of getting the sweet Pad Thai...(brown sugar based), I like it hot and red. ;)

I am writing while I gag. Being a huge fan of Toronto Thai and Vietnamese and recently moved here I was excited at the prospect of having some good food. In addition to previously wading through a mediocre pad thai, I found myself choking on a piece of scrunched up paper disguised as a WONTON today. When I called the restaurant to in the least inform the cook, I was told, "No you didn't [EAT PAPER]". Talk about NON customer service excellence.
Really now.

This was the second time we visited. only because we forgot how bad the first time was. (which i regained memory of as our meal went along).
ordered large pho instead of small or medium because we thought it would feed 2. portion was about the size of a small at any other viet place. and it was priced at a premium
noodles are the round slimy kind. not the flat traditinal kind.
beef broth was so flavourless it was shameful. and anyone who knows pho knows its all in the soup.
the elderly owner lady looks nice and harmless enough, but no word of a lie I saw her scoop stuff out of bins and warm it up for the "lunch special" consisting of dry day-old fried rice and lemon grass "chicken" (nasty and rubbery)
this was the last straw:
asked her for tea. and she said "later, ok?!"
and we were the ONLY ppl in the restaurant.
help me understand that.
will never go again!!!!
