Shoe Doctor

I used to swear by these people, for over 20 years they have fixed countless boots and shoes. Brought my month old $250 shoes in to have one tip replaced. I got charged $16 and picked my shoes up ruined. The bottom had been separated from the leather on inside of both shoes, one worse than the other...the bottom of the shoe leather had literally been chewed away from what looks like a sander. The gentleman had to nerve to say that it must be the way sit after the fact! Beware of this business!

So sorry to share this, but be careful what you bring in. My purse needed cleaning and leather care. What I received was worse than what I brought in. More stains and original water stain was more prominent. Looked dirty and would never use this purse again. Very defensive and would not listen. I would have negotiated some options but in the end I requested a refund which was promptly given. That is the one redeeming quality.

I've had many pairs of shoes repaired here over the years and the workmanship is absolutely beautiful! My wife recently brought in a pair of Blundstone boots that she's had for about 15 years as the sole had deteriorated. The repair they did was FAR better than the original sole and will undoubtedly last for a very long time!

Superior quality work. Very nice people to deal with. Sorry to see them leave Burlington.

I dropped a pair of boots that needed to be resoled and the gentleman mentioned to me that it will take 2 weeks to do (too long in my opinion). Very hesitant, I agreed and he required the $100+ payment upfront. 2 weeks on the pick up date, I arrived in the afternoon and saw the boots weren't ready yet, he said give them 15mins to do polishing. We came back and saw the boots STILL weren't ready and he RUSHED the job. Overall, very unsatisfied and made my designer boots look very cheap.
