The waitress was great ,really friendly and helpful .I think it was Jackie that served me she was very nice ,laughing and joking with me she was great ,her and Holly make a great team ,food was great ,fast service ,they make you feel right at home . If you want great food and great service go see the girls at the Westside Cafe

Holy lord, seriously the best poutine in town, go with the bacon cheddar poutine, crispy bacon, you can't go wrong. The place looks a little iffy, but don't let that fool you. The waitress are pretty pleasant and funny, just don't go in drunk and acting like an idiot expecting service with a smile (i think that goes without saying). One complaint, gave us a pitcher of water once that had "something" in it, every other time it's been clean.
If you are looking for high class dining then this isn't the place for you. However, if you are looking for a good homestyle burger and the best poutines this is the spot. Excellent service and excellent food.
We have gone to West Side Cafe many times, but this was the absolute worst food we have ever had. We had the bacon cheddar poutine (which had lumpy gravy, soggy, half-cooked fries and old bacon)and the baby west side burger, which had cold mushrooms, and tasteless hamburger. Very unimpressive, and not sure if we will go back anytime soon.
