Next time I feel like frozen fish and McCain's chips, I'll buy it myself and make it. Very disappointed.
Thought we would try this place. We were craving Fish and Chips and would like to find a good place in Durham. Definitely not this place. Won't be back! What a rip-off. Not much fish underneath all that batter! Would love to hear from anybody that has a good recommendation. My husband & I love fish once a week.
Not too happy with this place. I thought I would try it but will not go back. Service was not good. Finally got my milkshake when I was finished eating. Food sat like a lead balloon in my stomach. Too much thick batter for the little sliver of fish.
The fish & chips was OK not too greasy. There was a small piece of fish that was not edible, it was hard and chewy. I asked a friend where to get the best fish & chips. So I decided to try the flying fish. it's not the best fish or chips that I have tried, just OK. was it worth the money I spend, answer NO!
I was a loyal customer for years. Over the past year quality of the food became so bad that one take out dinner was tossed in the garbage after only eating half the meal. The fish was dry, too greasy and the fries were soggy and tasted like old oil. On my next order I did express my concerns but unfortunately had to pay again and was served the same mess. In the garbage again.... You've lost one loyal customer and many refferals.
