Went there for a birthday party and ordered a salad. My salad came with the whole Bottom part of the stem of a whole Romain lettuce. That’s part of the lettuce is not edible. I made a complaint and nothing Was done to fix the situation. When food came servants were passing the food over our heads to the other side of the table as opposed to going around. Also servants were very rude. The bill also came with 18% gratuity included and they stated that that was PART of the tip. Do not recommend.
I will never visit this place again!! The service is horrible. I have never been treated to rude.
The service was slow to begin with, the waiter did not come by to refill our drinks or ask how our food was. We did not receive our appetizers until after our main courses arrived. When the bill came, my dad polietly asked why we were charged an extra $3. The waiter rudely said "you ordered gnocci those are extra, this is you bill, gnocci are extra. My dad innocently said "Im sorry sir, you never told me that". The waiter then agrued and said "Yes I did, you need to pay your bill, that is your bill" he then threw the bill on the table and stormed off.
As my family was discussing the situation and the rudeness, an arrogant waiter from behind the bar said "Its just 3$ hurry up and pay" We looked at him in disgust and were shocked by this behaviour.
We paid our bill and left in shock. The only reqret I have of that night was paying the bill.
I've been going to Desserts Plus for many years...it's always packed and the food is always consistant and delicious! For the first time in years, I ordered pizza instead of pasta (I'm a big pasta lover lol)...and let me tell you, it was phenomenal!
This restaurant has terrible service. You can expect long wait times even if tables are available and then expect forever to be served. The portion sizes are huge but generally lack flavour and spice. The prices are reasonable but the lackluster service and bland food outweigh the benefits of the cost.
This is one of my family's favourite dinner places. It is friendly although the service can sometimes be a bit slow. Be prepared to wait but believe me, the excellent food is worth the wait.
The waiting staff are always ready to smile although they are, as I said busy. It can be a bit crowded, but it works - somehow this adds to the atmosphere in that it creates the feeling of a large family function.
The food.... delightfully delicious!!!!! We have tried many items on this scrumptious Italian menu and have never been disappointed. The servings are generous. Very.
There is a wide offering of sauces to choose from and we have loved them all.
The pizza is great too - the kids love it.
Often we celebrate family birthdays there and it the perfect setting to do so.
